Are you part of the solution or part of the problem?
Are You a Creator or a Complainer?
Watching a snippet of Question Time on the BBC last night (it’s a talk show aimed at getting politicians from both sides of the fence to argue for an hour without actually getting anywhere), and it seemed pretty clear from the get-go that there were two types of people in the audience.
Those who wanted to blame someone and those who wanted to take some responsibility.
And as much as I dislike watching programs aimed at getting absolutely nowhere in the name of entertainment, I did at least have to admire the panelists, who, for the most part (journalists aside), were stepping up to the plate with suggestions to at least solve stuff.
Those people who blame everything else for where they are: the government, the economy, the war, the health service, blah blah blah… they are certainly NOT part of the solution.
You see, the people who will get everyone else out of the mess we’re currently in are the creators of this world. The problem solvers. The innovators. The non-complainers.
These are the people who look at problems and see opportunities. These are the people who look at the obstacle and say: “That is the way forward”.
I love creators.
Complainers… not so much.
Not that I’m complaining, of course.
Have a great week. Create lots. Complain less. And then pass it on.
